Vermentino

Vermentino is a unique grape variety that is cultivated along the coasts of Liguria, Tuscany, and mainly in Sardinia. Legend has it that this grape has a special affinity for the sea and indeed produces one of the most sought-after white wines with subtle elegance and refined aromas. Vermentino is characterized by a delicate, bright straw-yellow to golden color and a taste that is marked by a mineral note typical of wines from coastal regions. Already with the first sip, it reveals its outstanding feature: an intense and diverse bouquet dominated by floral aromas, broom, and ripe fruit, complemented by subtle citrus notes that leave a pleasant mineral aftertaste. Vermentino pairs perfectly with a variety of fish dishes and traditional regional dishes such as Pane Frattau, Pane a Fittas, or Fregola with Bottarga, emphasizing its versatility.
