Barrile, Isola dei Nuraghi I.G.T.

The Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso IGT Barrile is an exclusive Sardinian red wine made from the rare autochthonous grape varieties Nieddera, Caddiu, and other local vines. Grown in the Tirso Valley and the Sinis Peninsula, the Mediterranean climate, calcareous soils, and traditional Alberello training method contribute to its remarkable depth and complexity.

Its brilliant garnet-red hue reflects the elegance of this wine. On the nose, it reveals aromas of black berries, spicy nuances, resinous undertones, and a graphite finish. The palate offers an explosive start, silky tannins, fresh spice, and a long-lasting finish.

Aged for 12–14 months in barrique & tonneaux, followed by bottle aging, this wine develops an outstanding structure. Best enjoyed at 15–16°C, it pairs wonderfully with aged cheese, game dishes, or Tagliolini with partridge ragout & porcini mushrooms.
