The Gran Sardo is a Pecorino aged for at least 90 days, offering a rich, full-bodied flavor and a distinctively Sardinian character. Initially mild and aromatic, it develops a bold, spicy taste as it matures – a true expression of Sardinian cheesemaking tradition.
Produced using ancient shepherds’ techniques combined with modern quality standards, this Pecorino stands out for its depth of flavor and aroma.
Best enjoyed with full-bodied, aged red wines, which enhance its intensity and balance.
Storage: Keep at +4° to +8°C.
Packaging: Cut fresh from the wheel and vacuum-sealed, or available as a whole wheel (approx. 3 kg).
