Jù Rosso Isola dei Nuraghi IGT
The "Jù Rosso Isola dei Nuraghi IGT" is a wine whose name originates from the "ox yoke" used to cultivate the fields. It embodies the history of the vineyard and aims to rival the finest wines.
Its sensory characteristics include an intense ruby red color that evolves into garnet with aging. The aroma is deep and structured, featuring hints of ripe cherries, spices, and Mediterranean herbs. The taste is rich and elegant, with notes of mature red fruit and licorice, complemented by sweet spices and refined tannins.
The wine is made from 100% red grapes from the region. It is produced in the vicinity of the vineyard, on soils with a medium clay composition and calcareous deposits from the Miocene era. The winemaking process involves a maceration period of approximately 12-14 days at a temperature of 26-28°C. Subsequently, the wine matures for 24 months in new oak barrels. After this period, it is bottled and allowed to rest horizontally for another 6 months before being made available for sale.
This is a wine suitable for extended aging and should be stored in a cool, dry place protected from light. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 18-22°C. It pairs well with red meat and aged cheese.
