The history of the Rau family dates back to 1926 and is deeply rooted in the culinary traditions of Sardinia. While one brother runs the renowned Rau distillery and another specializes in traditional Sardinian pastries, Tenuta L'Ariosa represents authentic premium Sardinian wines.
The vineyards of Tenuta L’Ariosa are located in Sardinia’s untouched landscape, where sea breezes, rocky soils, and Mediterranean vegetation create ideal conditions for viticulture. Only indigenous Sardinian grape varieties are cultivated, using traditional vine training systems.
Low yields, manual harvesting, and strict grape selection ensure exceptional quality. In the cellar, modern technology and ancient winemaking knowledge come together to create wines that truly express Sardinian terroir.
