Mirto - Myrtle liqueur

A staple of any Sardinia vacation is Mirto. This liqueur is either served as a digestif after a meal or enjoyed ice-cold before bedtime. There are two types: red Mirto (Mirto Rosso), made from berries, and white Mirto (Mirto Bianco or sometimes Mirto Verde), made from the plant's flowers and leaves.
