Azienda Vinicola Contini

In the sun-drenched area of the Sinis Peninsula and along the Tirso River, the grapes processed by Cantina Contini flourish into exceptional wines. Mild winters and hot summers shape the climate around Cabras, giving the wines their distinctive character. Founded in 1898 by Salvatore Contini, the winery is one of Sardinia's most traditional estates. Today, under the leadership of Paolo Contini, the third generation, and with the expertise of oenologist Piero Cella, Contini is recognized as one of Italy’s leading wine producers. The family is especially renowned for their Vernaccia di Oristano, a wine that has been awarded multiple prizes since 1912, first at the Milan World’s Fair. The cellar also boasts other Sardinian classics like Cannonau, Vermentino, and Nieddera, which are carefully aged within this family-run winery.
