Limoncello - Liqueur from fresh sardinian lemons
Why do these liqueurs have different names? It all comes down to their original origins. Limoncello hails from areas around the Gulf of Naples, though the exact birthplace is often debated. On the other hand, Limoncino calls Liguria its home and is frequently used in the Ligurian dessert Tiramisu al Limoncino. Finally, Limonello comes from Sardinia.
