Mamaioa, Vermentino di Sardegna biologico
Mamaioa is a fresh, mineral Vermentino di Sardegna made from certified Vermentino grapes. The label features a ladybug, symbolizing sustainable farming and highlighting the commitment to eco-friendly growing methods. The name "Mamaioa" derives from a Sardinian expression, evoking the tradition and connection to nature of the island.
After the gentle pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C. Following fermentation, the wine matures for several months in stainless steel and glass-lined concrete tanks, enhancing its harmonious aging. After bottling, it undergoes a short bottle aging.
In color, Mamaioa presents a pale straw-yellow hue with greenish reflections. The bouquet is marked by floral aromas of acacia and honeysuckle, combined with fruity notes of Rennet apple and aromatic nuances of thyme and oregano.
On the palate, the wine is fresh and mineral, with a pleasant structure and smoothness. Mamaioa is perfect as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes and pasta with light sauces.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C
Contains sulfites.
