A characterful white wine with complex aromatic characteristics, dominated by vineyards overlooking the natural reserve of the Stagnone and the Aeolian Islands.
Grape Variety: Pure Malvasia.
Origin: Tenuta Rakalia, Marsala - Province of Trapani.
Terroir: The vineyards in the northern part of the estate have a reddish, carbonate-rich, flat soil; the southern part is slightly hilly and characterized by sandy loam.
Altitude: 110 meters above sea level.
Climate: Thanks to its hilly location and full sun exposure in the higher areas, the area is well-ventilated.
Production and Aging: Grapes are harvested in the first decade of August. They are vinified in reduction, gently pressed, and then fermented at low temperature for an extended period. The wine matures for 4 months in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes: Color: Straw yellow. Aroma: Intense and complex, particularly floral and fragrant. Notes of yellow flowers are accompanied by pronounced citrus notes and hints of preserved peach. Taste: Intense and persistent, very soft, fresh, and moderately salty.
Pairing: Ideal with fish dishes such as couscous, amberjack ragout, or stuffed sardines. Serve at 8°-12°C.
