The blackberries, widespread throughout Sardinia, are tasty and nutritious summer berries with ripening from July to September; their intense and pleasant aroma, along with their shiny black color, make blackberries a valuable ingredient for preparing excellent jam. Compact, homogeneous, and very tasty, they are effectively spread on fresh bread and toast or used as a filling for croissants and pies.
