The Cagnulari is a native grape variety of Sardinia, which some may also recognize as Graciano from Spain. In Spain, it is often used in noble blends and highly valued for its intense aroma and delicate range of scents. Tenuta L’Ariosa in the north of Sardinia produces its own wine from this unique variety, perfectly showcasing the characteristics of the Cagnulari.
In the glass, it presents itself with a brilliant ruby red color and clear purity. On the nose, it expresses its youthfulness and freshness, accompanied by intense and elegant aromas of wild berries and lightly spiced jams. On the palate, it is intense, warm, soft, and balanced, with velvety, full-bodied tannins from aging in barriques and a long finish. A wine of exceptional quality and long aging potential.
