100 Kent'annos Gold Mandrolisai DOC Superiore
The Mandrolisai DOC Rosso Superiore is a premium red wine from the heart of Sardinia, representing the highest expression of the traditional Mandrolisai wines. Made from indigenous grape varieties Cannonau, Muristeddu (Bovale Sardo), and Monica, it combines strength, elegance, and remarkable depth.
The grapes come from the hilly Mandrolisai region, where granite soils give the wine its distinctive structure and minerality. After the traditional harvest in October, the wine undergoes careful vinification with submerged cap maceration, followed by 24 months of aging in oak barrels and further refinement in bottle.
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet is rich and complex, with spicy and Mediterranean notes. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, and powerful with remarkable persistence and depth.
This wine pairs perfectly with roasted or grilled meats, game dishes, and aged Pecorino Sardo.
