Sardegna Mandrolisai DOC Superiore – Full-Bodied Red Wine from Sardinia
The Sardegna Mandrolisai DOC Superiore is an exceptional red wine from the Terre del Mandrolisai, a scenic mid- to high-hill region of Sardinia. Grown on granite-rich soils, the vines produce a wine with unique structure and mineral complexity.
This blend of Cannonau, Muristeddu (Bovale Sardo) and Monica displays a ruby red color with garnet highlights. The nose offers intense, fruity aromas, while the palate is dry, spicy, full-bodied, and pleasantly tannic. With balanced structure and elegant body, this wine pairs wonderfully with hearty meat dishes, aged cheeses, or festive occasions.
The harvest takes place in early October, followed by a maceration with punch-down of the cap. The wine then ages for 24 months in oak barrels before bottling.
