Terresinis Vernaccia I.G.T. Valle del Tirso
With its brilliant straw-yellow color, this wine presents a dry, smooth, and wonderfully balanced palate. It impresses with good persistence and a solid body. The Vernaccia di Oristano grape thrives in the low Valle del Tirso and prefers alluvial soils, where it achieves perfect ripeness. The remaining 15% consists of other native Sardinian grape varieties.
Soil Type: Alluvial in nature; loamy-sandy composition.
Vineyard Area: 8 hectares.
Training System: Trellis, Guyot.
Fertilization: Naturally organic, green manure every two years.
Pesticides: Traditional; sulfur and copper.
Weed Control: Strictly mechanical. Fermentation: Fermentation takes place for approximately 20 days at low temperatures, with about 30% of the mass in oak barrels and the remaining 70% in stainless steel. Aging: After blending the entire mass, the wine matures for one month in stainless steel with weekly batonnage, providing it with remarkable flavor complexity and structure. Aging continues until bottling in stainless steel or concrete tanks.
Food Pairing: Ideal with Bottarga di Muggine (mullet roe), seafood, and fish dishes.
Serving Temperature: 8-10°C.
Contains sulfites.
