Neale, Cannonau di Sardegna DOC

A juicy, vibrant red from the hills of Sardinia

Neale is a distinctive Cannonau di Sardegna DOC with a ruby red hue that develops garnet reflections over time. The bouquet is marked by clear aromas of tobacco and cinchona bark. On the palate, it is juicy, crisp in fruit, with elegant tannins and a tense, flavorful finish.

Origin & Vineyards
The grapes come from the valleys of Locoe and Sorasi, as well as the elevated terrains of Sa Lacana. The vineyards are healthy and well-maintained, requiring minimal treatments thanks to the pristine environment.

Winemaking & Aging
The grapes are hand-harvested, gently destemmed and pressed, and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel. The wine rests at least six months in tank, then in bottle.

Serving Suggestion
Best served at 18–20 °C. Pairs beautifully with pasta, braised meats, grilled dishes, and aged cheese.
