This wine presents itself with an intense ruby red color that takes on garnet reflections as it matures. The aroma is intense and enduring, ethereal and vinous, exuding notes of wild berries. On the palate, it reveals a warm and enveloping character, with a substantial body and pleasing tannic nuances.
Production Area: The surroundings of the winery are characterized by moderately heavy soils composed of Miocene clay-limestone. The location is moderately hilly and experiences a sub-arid climate.
Production Method: After destemming, the grapes are sent for fermentation, lasting 8-10 days at a temperature of 26°C. After racking, the wine is transferred to glass-coated concrete tanks where malolactic fermentation takes place, followed by several months of aging. Sales commence no earlier than April 10th of the year following the harvest.
Aging Process: It is recommended to enjoy this wine at least a year after the harvest, allowing time for bottle aging. It is a wine suitable for medium aging, best consumed within 3-4 years from the harvest.
