The Shardana red wine is carefully crafted from hand-harvested Carignano and Syrah grapes, picked by experienced vintners between late September and early October. Fermentation takes place in high-quality stainless steel tanks, with the grape skins used for maceration for several weeks. The wine then matures for about 12 months in barrels of fine French oak. In the glass, it presents itself with a deep dark ruby red color and exudes enticing aromas of small berries, ripe cherries, juicy currants, intense blackberries, along with spicy and lightly peppery nuances characteristic of the Syrah grape variety profile. On the palate, the Shardana red wine is exceptionally harmonious and broad, with an abundance of fruity notes, ripe tannins, and an extremely long finish. This exquisite wine pairs perfectly with game dishes as well as roasted and grilled meats, providing them with a refined taste.
