Mirto del Contadino is a traditional Sardinian liqueur obtained from the alcoholic maceration of the berries of the myrtle plant. Its intense deep-red color and distinctive aromatic bouquet capture the authentic flavour of Sardinian myrtle.
With an alcohol content of 30%, this liqueur is made using only sugar as an additive, preserving its natural character. Known for its digestive properties, it is ideally enjoyed chilled at the end of a meal or served as an aromatic aperitif.
Mirto is also widely used by Sardinian pastry shops in the preparation of traditional island sweets, making it a versatile ingredient beyond the glass.
Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled
