Sardus Pater

Sardus Pater, Sant'Antioco

The Sardus Pater Winery is located on the island of Sant’Antioco in southwestern Sardinia, a region renowned for its exceptional wines and unique terroir.

Founded in 1949 as a cooperative, production began in 1955 and has steadily evolved into one of Sardinia’s most respected wine producers. The winery focuses primarily on the Carignano grape variety, which thrives in the island’s sandy soils. Some vineyards are over 50 years old, producing grapes of outstanding quality and forming the foundation of the winery’s refined red wines.

Approximately 200 growers cultivate around 300 hectares of vineyards, combining traditional farming methods with careful grape selection. Since 1994, the winery has also produced elegant Vermentino wines, along with smaller productions of Moscato, Nasco, Monica, and Cannonau.

Each bottle reflects meticulous craftsmanship and careful vinification. Under the guidance of winemaker Paolo Pierantozzi, Sardus Pater creates wines that authentically express the character of Sardinia.

Arruga Sardus Pater - Carignano del Sulcis wine with an intense ruby red color, featuring a label that reflects the freshness and elegance of the wine.
