The Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Costamolino from Argiolas is a delightful white wine made from grapes harvested at the Vigne Vecchie estate in the hills near Selegas. The ideal altitude and soil conditions allow the Vermentino grapes to reach perfect ripeness, resulting in wines of exceptional quality. Carefully crafted in neutral containers with strict temperature control, this wine presents itself with a beautiful straw yellow color with light greenish reflections. It offers intense yet delicate fruity aromas with a subtle hint of bread crust. On the palate, it is fresh, dry, and pleasantly flavorful with a delicate finish. The Costamolino pairs perfectly with seafood appetizers and complements classic local dishes like Fregola with shellfish.
