Templum, Cannonau di Sardgena D.O.C.
With a ruby red hue and violet undertones, this wine exudes the fragrance of violets reminiscent of berries. It presents itself as dry, lively, and tannic, revealing its full potential when paired with grilled meats, charcuterie, and cheese.
Classification: Cannonau di Sardegna DOC.
Winemaking: Crafted using traditional red winemaking methods, including maceration for 8-10 days.
Aging: Aged in the cellar for 8-12 months.
Color: Initially marked by a striking ruby red with youthful violet nuances, it evolves into garnet as it matures.
Nose: A robust and persistent vinous bouquet, characteristic of Cannonau, with subtle notes of wild berries.
Palate: Dry and quite intense, offering a balanced blend of acidity and tannins with a long-lasting finish on both the nose and palate.
Storage: Store at a constant temperature of 16°C, 75% humidity, protected from direct light, and in a horizontal bottle position.
Serving: Best enjoyed in a wide-rimmed glass with a fairly tall bowl. Serve at a temperature of 16°C and open the bottle at least 30 minutes before serving.
Pairings: This wine pairs excellently with red meats, game dishes, and mature PDO Sardinian Pecorino cheese.
Contains Sulfites.
