Costamolino Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is an elegant white wine with a straw-yellow color and subtle greenish reflections. Its bouquet is intense, refined, and well-balanced, featuring a harmonious blend of primary and secondary aromas. On the palate, the wine is fresh, dry, and pleasantly savory, with a delicate, lingering finish.
Vinification begins with a careful selection of the grapes, followed by gentle pressing using only the free-run must. After natural decantation at 10–12°C, fermentation takes place at 16–18°C for approximately 20 days. The wine is then stored under controlled temperature conditions, with a brief period on fine lees.
Ideal with seafood appetizers, fregola with crustaceans, fish soups, sea bass with artichokes, and soft to medium-aged cheeses. Sealed with cork.
Contains sulfites (131 mg/l).
